A PERSONAL NOTE: After years of experience and spending a lot of money on different products the Berkey system with their black Berkey element is the ONLY system I use and recommend. The Berkey Crown can easily filter and provide plenty of water for six or more people on a daily basis. Save $$$ when you buy 4, 6 or 8 elements (filters) with your system instead of buying them later plus having to pay shipping.
This is the only water purification and filtration element I recommend and use because it removes viruses, bacteria, parasites, heavy metals, petroleum products, chlorine, pharmaceuticals, and can be used in rivers, lakes, swimming pools, rain water, any water source other than salt water.
